    Hmm.....that is strange. At my previous workplace, we had access to the beta for a while, and when asking you guys about licensing issues, we were assured that the Maya version would use our existing licenses. Did it actually not look for a license at all?

      V-Ray for Maya uses the old software licensing system for V-Ray while it is in Beta stage, while current 3ds Max builds use the dongles.

        what is going on with the standalone version of Vray? if this is the future for Vray...would we have the plug-ins for all the host like Maxwell and Fryrender?
