    Yes, to avoid the crash, you can do the following:

    Go to Customize > Custom UI and Defaults Switcher... and select one of the "Max" presets ("MAX.vray", "Max" etc, not a "Design" one) and restart 3ds Max. Hair&Fur should render fine then.

    It looks like one of the options in the defaults preset causes the crash, but we haven't had time to figure out which one yet.

      No VRay for Max 2010 in the download section..

      From where to d/l VRaySP3 for Max 2010 x64?

        You need the V-Ray SP3a version for 3ds Max 2010 - it appears fine when I log in.
