Starting from 27.10.2009, 17:00 EET(GMT +2) our main web site ChaosGroup.com was somewhat difficult and slow to access due to problems on our side, which is why we had to temporarily restrict access to the new V-Ray for 3ds MAX 1.50.SP4 updates (this caused the "missing installation files" errors for some users).

Right now V-Ray for 3ds MAX 1.50.SP4 updates should be available again. If you have problems downloading them due to slow server response please try again in a few hours.

We appreciate your patience and apologize for the inconvenience.

If necessary we will post more information in this thread.

Guess there still are problems its saying 10 hours to get the 35Mb "Oct 26, 2009 1.50.SP4 max2009 64bit" file here in the UK.

im trying to download vray Oct 26, 2009 1.50.SP4 max2008 64bit for last two days without success any chance for someone to PM me with some outside link with better transfer speed? my transfer just dies at about 3-4mb and i have to retry from zero. its somewhat frustrating

Yes. Some probles here. I have downloaded the file about 3 times now. But the download always cancels at around 28 MB.
And each download has run for about 6 - 9 hours long!!!

A little bit annoying. :-/

It's because the server's current bandwidth is maxed out. Since the forum is hosted on the same server, it shares the same bandwidth with the downloads.

Yep, same here, been like that all morning, tried 64bit and 32bit versions with
same result.

Trying to download SP4a and getting similar problems, only downloads 2,205KB then finishes.
