Saving backward is also being limited. MAX 2019 doesn't save back to 2014, which a lot of people I work with still use. I would be curious how far you can save back in MAX 2020.Bobby Parker

Currently the upgrade dream is dead !
I got 2020 installed on most pcs around the network but 1 slave and *my* workstation refuse to install it. It`s probably to do with all the vc++ install prerequisites etc and I`ve tried gutting the setup.ini file but I`ve hit a dead end for now. Autodesk installs can be awkward like that, the last time it happened I reinstalled windows but don`t have the time or patience for now. So... 2019 for now I guess until I can either be bothered to reinstall windows or get a new workstation. Bah.

Does anyone know if I can use the latest 2020 OSL shaders in Max 2019? They have updated the Github with the new OSL, just not sure if there is a reason they won't work in 2019. I'm not ready to update to 2020, but could use some of the new maps. Is it that simple?

Also, on a related note. Does anyone know of any other good repositories for OSL?
