OK first time I've tried rendering passes out from Vray and getting stuck.
have searched forum but can someone spare two mins to explain or refer me to a topic dealing with this?
Basically used max scanline with render elements till now and wondered how I can achieve the same kind of result:
I have a scene with no direct lighting other than an omni with only specular checked, and want to render out a defuse pass self illumination pass and Z-Depth.
is there anything I should make sure I'm doing in order for the specular and Self illuminated passes not to render black and for the Z-depth not to be blotchy around fine detailed geometry?
so far all wanted passes are ticked in g-buffer save separate g-buffer passes separately checked.
I'm however not using Vray materials will this affect the outcome?
