  • Burn marks on my render

I just doing a quick project for a friend and I'm getting burn marks on my model. I think there is a solution to this but I cannot remember what it is (it's been a while since I did any work in vray) & I cannot find it when I search the forum. Can anyone help?

your using the AEC walls object which is god awfull with their coplanar faces and honestly using the ray bias of 0.001 usually doesnt work with it. as cool as their walls are they are a pain in the ass with vray so i just use splines.

Yep, obvious case of coplanar faces. Ray Bias > 0 may fix it, but there's a good chance it wont. I offer the same advice, use splines+extrude+polymodeling - the AEC walls just have too many issues.

Thanks for the advice guys. I think I'll remodel the walls.
