  • Vrmesh conversion utility: Bundling multiple PLY files into an animated Vrmesh?

I am trying to animate a sequence of .ply files. Is there a way to wrap them into one .vrmesh object using the command line utility (or something like it)? I would like to import it as an animation sequence in Max, such that each .ply object is displayed as one frame (or however many I determine).

    Thanks.

You can use the -append option of ply2vrmesh to append each .ply file as a new frame in the .vrmesh file. Inside 3ds Max, you can use the playback speed parameter to control how often the frames change.

    Best regards,
    Vlado

      Hi vlado

How could I create the command line with multiple PLY files to convert into one animated Vrmesh?

      Thanks.
