I wondered if anyone has a utility/script to bring old vray projects bang up to date for working with the latest build of Vray. If not, it might be an idea for the Chaos team. We are still running 1.09r at the moment, but have major concerns about upping to the latest builds as many of our projects have been running for many many months.
In the past, I have attempted to upgrade, but quickly gone back when I discovered just how many changes had been made which affected rendertimes/render brightness etc. Lots of my projects have lots of materials and lights, each of which would need tweaking to work well with newer builds.
Obviously, any conversion attempt would have to be a 'best approximate' - i.e. it won't be *exactly* the same - but it would be of great use to bring me (and others I am sure) out of the 19th century.
