  • No VRay lights in 1.47.03

    Hi,

I just tried to put a vray light in a scene for the first time with 1.47.03 and they aren't in the Create panel or in the Create->Light pulldown. What could be wrong?

Thanks. They aren't there, though if I merge one from another scene, I can edit it just fine. Maybe my menu file is corrupt.

I didn't install 1.47.03 over my 1.0903. I copied the file tree over and made all the changes as advised here for dual installation. Maybe I missed an entry in the ini file (though I used Search and Replace for the changes).

Have you try to reload interface? Have you also try to custom your interface?

Check your plugin.ini file, You'll need the paths to point to your new folder structure.

The VRayLight should be in its own VRay category in the Lights part of the create panel. The reason it was moved is because the 3dsmax SDK does not recommend adding plugins to the default 3dsmax categories.

                      Best regards,
                      Vlado

Thanks Vlado. I didn't know it would have its own catagory. All is well again.
