  • position pass into nuke is flipping

    Hello all,

I have trouble with position pass (it's generated by samplerinfo ) flipping result in nuke. As you can see in attached image, Rendering teapot from camera is OK but when brought to nuke to see position data
using PositionToPoints node, it looks -x90degree flipping. I can fix this rotation using transformGeo node but I want to avoid it to keep simple workflow. Do you have any idea to render correct position pass
    from Vray ?

    3dsMAX2020 Vray 5 update1

    thanks in advance,

    Kei

I presume it's because Nuke is Y-up whereas 3ds Max is Z-up. Not sure if you can change the coordinate system in Nuke, though.

      Thank you Aleksandar,

yes it comes from Y-up and Z-up differences. I can change coordinate system using color matrix node but it would be great if vray can change coordinate system when we render.
