lightmix Alpha problem

I get the alpha coming through when changing things in light mix. is there a way around this?

No way of knowing without the scene and further elaboration of the issue.

i have some plants in the background that are pngs, cut out with the opacity channel. when i increase the lightmix lights it produces these artifacts.
