Actually we have but there were always more important things to do, so it stayed for the bright future Maybe it's time to resurrect the idea..
If it was that easy, it would have already been done

That would be great, since BerconMaps are not fully supported, especially in regards to VrayDisplacementMod, which allways renders incorrectly since Vray3.7 AFAIK.

When using this latest file in Max 2025 I get:

DLL <C:\Program Files\Autodesk\3ds Max 2025\PlugIns\BerconMaps_2025_64.dlt> failed to initialize.
                Error code 193 - %1 is not a valid Win32 application.

Edit: nevermind the link posted above is the wrong one, this one is the correct one: https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Be...ps_2025_64.dlt

It's important that you download the raw file instead of right clicking on the .dlt and saving the link.
Go to https://github.com/Bercon/BerconMaps...ps_2025_64.dlt and use the "Download" button.

The correct file is 365,056 bytes in size and its SHA1 checksum is ef0e559be588df699352abc36b1a84d999be8435

If you mistakenly right-click and save, however, what you end up with is a 274,194 byte file instead.

Yeah exactly what I did, as I saw the dlt extension, to avoid confusement I just added the link to the raw file.
