  • Render is completely different when using VFB compared to when not.

When I'm using the Frame Buffer, my render looks like this:

Name:	image.png
Views:	157
Size:	1.14 MB
ID:	1163547
(Ignore the noise, super quick render)

then when I turn off "Enable built-in frame buffer" in the render settings under "V-Ray", it turns to this:

Name:	image.png
Views:	128
Size:	111.8 KB
ID:	1163548

It's basically pitch black, why aren't they the same?

Hi with just these two screengrabs it is impossible to tell for sure. I place my bet on exposure correction in the VFB. Here is a bit of info about it - https://docs.chaos.com/display/VMAX/VFB+Settings
We will need a bit more info - at least widen the screengrab a little so it is visible if you have additional active layers in the VFB or if you have changed your display correction.
