  • HDRI Background showing up in glas material

Hello, i just have i problem with my background and glas. It shows up in renderings, but should not be there. In the scene i use a dome light and made the background invisible.

I think its a problem with glas material?

Hi, thanks or posting. Are you using VRayDome light with hdri texture? If you are, enabling "invisible" for the dome light will not remove the hdri from reflections/refractions.
If you want something different than the hdri texture in your reflections/refractions, use the V-Ray Environment overrides.

Hello Vladimir, i tested it with invisible option in the domelight settings. It shows up too, if i turn of the environment in 3DS Max the glas is rendering in black.

Hi, the invisible option in the dome light does not remove it from the reflections/refractions. If you want to see something different than the dome light's texture in your windows you have to use the V-Ray Environment
