I was thinking about the Vray plugin for SketchUp. What would be the advantages (aside from SketchUp's fast modeling time) and disadvantages to using it for this program?
I was thinking materials and modeling would be the main issues. Seeing that complex modelling isn't done in Sketchup. Also, Sketchup has some prebuilt library items such as trees to work around.
The other thing I would wonder about is how this would effect the archvis industry as a whole? Would vis people really be settling for these renders versus Max produced ones? It shakes things up a bit IMO...
Also, will it be included to those who already have Vray Advanced?
Screens please!
