  • Best way to convert Autodesk Generic Materials

Just curious if what I did was the best way.

Used Max's converter to make Autodesk Generic into Physical Material.

Then used VRay scene converter Physical Material to VRayMtl.

Since there are a lot of different ways to convert is there a better method?

I use V-RayMax Converter Pro, which can convert both Autodesk Generic and Physical Material directly to VRayMtl without any intermediate steps.

Thank you for the replies I will look into it.

Just out of curiosity what specifically does this tool do better in this instance?
