I have a scene that I rendered with a moving camera. I changed the texture on a sign in the scene, so I want to re-render just that sign out and lay the sequence on top of my comp to fix it. I thought the Render Mask would do the trick, but it doesn't reset the frame buffer with each new frame, so the sign leaves a trail as it moves across the screen. I tried turning off the frame buffer, but then I get an error regarding the denoiser PNG bit depth. How can I just make the frame buffer refresh with each new render?

It's rather confusingly under the 'Settings' tab of the F10 rollout, as in the screenshot...so set to 'clear'.
Why it isn't within the VFB is a complete mystery

FYI: We are planning on implementing improvements in the UI so that options like these are easier to find.
