The V-Ray build for 3dsmax 9 has both 32 and 64-bit versions and will be available as soon as 3dsmax 9 is released.

Did you check the manual on the CD for info on how to set up v-ray on the render slaves? Basically they need to be able to connect to the license server (although they do not need a license).

                Best regards,
                Vlado

yes - I think I have it setup, but I've obviously missed something. (well done at the demo the other day by the way - very impressive stuff)

The vray dialog box tells me that each of the slaves has loaded the scene and that they are starting to render, but their buckets don't appear. At completion, I have warnings for wach of the slaves telling me they are not responding.

In the instructions, I am told that each of the slaves should launch "vraydummy.max", but mine launch "vraydummy60.max" as with my older version of vray that I have upgraded from.

You need to set up the render slaves so that they can see the v-ray license server.

yes, i've just done that. I've gone through to the 'Change Vray client license settings' and changed it to the IP address of the server (the same IP that the workstations themselves are pointed at), but they still seem to fail.
                        Kind Regards,

If you look at the file c:\vraylog.txt on the slaves, what does it say?

                          Best regards,

                              Another dongle question,

I have two dongles, one with 1 license and the other with 18, is there any way to figure out which is which?
