  • splotchy small area of light showing up in image

the case of the splotchys are back. these things show up once and while and they are annoying.

I tried all the usual things that vray says to do in their troubleshooting.

I think you will have to show your settings and light setup.

I set the vray rQMC Min Samples from 8 to 100 and I got nuch better results as u can see in the image. I also checked sub-pixel color mapping and clamp output which took made the rendering time go from 2 hours to 1 hour.

it looks to me like a bad material is causing this....try to render with an white overide material to see if it goes away...

you will need to show a screen grab of your light setting and vray settings, without this we cant really help you.

Looks like youre using 'use interpolation' on your materials, the glossiness is too soft.

Its not a bug, just a result of low settings.
