I thought maybe they were just a reseller for chaosgroup, but it really does seem that they have made their own software that works with sketchup (i called a couple of other sales offices listed on this site and they had no clue about V-ray for SU.)
It doesn't "seem", they ARE a developer.
They bought licenses of the full SDK and code software (plugins) that leverage on the vray architecture.
Afaik, development is ongoing for both VfR and VfSU, while they are both sold (and rightly so, both render properly in many cases, minus a few bugs, as per any software on the market) on the site.
Our website is being migrated over to a new website. We had to use a .htaccess protocol to redirect to our site. This has caused some problems for some 2 out of 10 users. The new website "should" be up and running this week.
Dave or anyone having issues getting to download of V-ray for SketchUp or Rhino please contact me directly at crubadue@asgvis.com. I will be more than happy to send you a link.
ASGVIS is a spinoff company from Ayers Saint Gross, Inc. Although we are not one company we work very closely with the Chaos Group to bring V-Ray to other applications such as SketchUp and Rhino.
If there are other questions let me know. I will be glad to address them.
