      Hi

I get a black viewport. Have downloaded the driver but it wont install because it says that it can't find a driver that is compatible with the current hardware.

      I am using Max 8 and 64bit.

SonOfNimrod: Redviewer 1.4 will be released in a few weeks. I can't be more precise as ii will be mainly based on the beta test feedbacks.

Infrared digital: please, mail me to support@redway3d.com. As a first step, could you give me your software/hardware configuration?

Great thing in this interactivity, is that you can see your reflections in realtime! Great for studio renderings.
I just can't seem to trust myself
So what chance does that leave, for anyone else?

I've run into the same thing. I'm on XP 64bit with a Quadro 4500. The recommended NVidia drivers for redviewer are not installable on XP 64. I am using the 91.47 drivers, which result in a black display when I turn on redviewer.

              Hello,

for those of you who own a nVidia card (in particular a Quadro model), be sure to follow the driver setup instructions that you can find:

              1. in the Redviewer user's manual
              2. on the quick start screen of redviewer (under the 'configure your 3d card' section)
              3. in our forum www.redway3d.com/forum/index.php

Dynedain : the recommended drivers for your card are Forceware 84.26 XP 64. You can find them on the nVidia web site. You can solve the black screen issue by changing the "unified back depth buffer" setting in your graphic card properties (disabling it).

              Regards

looks amazing. waiting Max 9 64Bit version, and for a version that supports current graphics drivers for a GTX 8800. Looking forward to using this plugin ! Mind you - ive just seen the price - so i would have to be totally certain that this plugin works with my own configuration before pulling out the credit card.
Max 9 64bit, WinXP64 (but probably moving to Vista 64bit when the 3dsMax Enhancements update is released in March), GTX 8800 using driver supplied with card.

                        OMG! Totaly awesome!
I think, at first you should be trageted on VRay users Not now But, it's better now, than never.

VRaylight imitation includes diffuse/specular options ?
And what about VRay plane ?

P.S. And plz change "VEHICULES" to "VEHICLES" on your main page

                          Hello Paul,

when you speak about VRayLight limitations do you mean affect diffuse and specular support? Redviewer supports both affect diffuse & specular for every kind of light (including VRay ones).

VRayPlane is not fully supported yet. However it should be handled correctly in a near future.

Thank you for your support and remarks.

I've tried it with fx3400 and 96.94 and just get a black screen, any tips?

it looks truly amazing! almost to good to be true!

                                can't wait for a max 9 64 bit

if the price is 400 euro per seat - i've got some convincing to do though...
