Is there a way to exclude opacity from GI and shadow calculations?

I was hoping that using a GI override material, with a non opacity material for GI would help speed up things. But it's not working. Am i thinking the right way, i don't care if the shadows or GI are a little incorrect if it renders faster.Dusan Bosnjak

Oh yeah, i've seen it when i was searching for a solution yesterday. It actually made xfrogs usable, and not only that, i think they actually look better without the halo effect. But still, it's slower than pure geometry, so i was wondering...Dusan Bosnjak
