I've upgraded to a more current/powerfull workstation. I want to use Max 9 with Vray on it. I can keep Max installed on my older machine and use it on the new machine with the portable licenes utility. Is there any way to use Vray like this (on both machines)?
I plan to have the new machine as the primary rendering machine but . I have switched from CRT to LCD monitors. In progress and previously completed projects need to stay on the old machine so the colors and appearance aren't altered.
It's like what would you do if you had Vray on your workstation but needed to also have it on a laptop for occaisional work away from the office?
Is there a way to do this short of purchasing a second copy of Vray?
