...Could you please e-mail support@ixor3d.com with details about your network configuration? WinXP32bit? 64Bit? Vista etc...

We are using it here with XP64bit and XP32bit both ways without any problem so maybe there is something we need to look further...

As already stated: the control machine is Vista Ultimate 64 bit and the node is Xp Pro 64 bit. I also tried an XP home 32 bit machine as controller but crashed too. This is without firewalls, over a wired network that has no conncetion issues at all. I will contact you next friday by mail, but I would like to see if there are more people having this issue and/or have a solution for this !!

Vnc function seems to now work fine in the newer release.

Nice app, fits along the lines of something i've wanted to (started to and never finished!) make for quite a while now. My suggestions after looking at it quickly.. A way to allow using VNC in addition to remote desktop would be nice, as many people already have vnc deployed around. even if it is just so much as a setting that switches away from your built in viewer and executes the vnc.exe "ip address"

Also, I'd like to be able to set in a user defined Network location, a config that will give you a few premade options for the 'Remote Command' thing.

IE: For Vray use, i'd like to be able to add the following:
c:\3dsmax9\vrayspawner90.exe
server
psservice restart backburner_srv_200

Also another useful thing is to have a button that can open up the remote disk.. ie: explorer \\remote\c$\ for easy browsing and debugging of logfiles etc.

That said, the idle / shutdown / wake on lan thing is a great idea, and i'll probably steal that for my inhouse thingie >

Andronikos, we test your software (demo) on our renderfarm and is a must... like Natty said... only small graphic problems with our server graphic card..

I think, that was good idea, if monitor program work like Monitor of BB... work in any workstation and not only in the server machine...

Timer?

Looks good - just ordered a copy through your web site.

Is there a way to add in a timer/calendar so that we can schedule in automatic shutdowns/startups (ie switch the renderfarm off during holidays or weekends, and start them back up first thing on a Monday morning?)
