  • Reflection problem

    Hi All,
I am having a problem with reflections on some of my meshes (see link below)
as you can see the reflections dont look smooth although they are fine on a standard sphere so it must be the mesh... i have tried a 'smooth' modifier 'meshsmooth' and converting to editalble mesh but with no success... has anyone had a similar problem before?

Yes, it definitely looks like geometry problem.
is that modeled in max or in some cad program?

That's odd. A simple check to see if the mesh is clean or not is to make sure your secondary ray bias is at 0.0 (this is in globals I think) then give that object a vraylight material, with vraydirt in it. Any problem/doubled up faces will render black.

If you want you can send it (or just the problem parts like that side panel) to dukecg at gmail dot com and i'll check it out.

Is there a LC used? -> uncheck use lc for glossy.
I just can't seem to trust myself
So what chance does that leave, for anyone else?
