A New Version of Onyx to arrive next week!

Hey guys,
Just curious- people dont like the modeler software of onyx? I dont know about the new features but when I read the posts, I felt as if people were so unhappy with the current software.
For me: I used it few times and for me it was very good to model the trees as I want.
Just asking curiously, no offense or defense...but wanted to hear your thoughs.

Did you ever try to put a tree against a wall...in a natural way...not with the saw ?
Have you ever tried to precisely sculpt the length of a trunk with the current sliders ?
Don't you want to see how your tree looks when you have textured leaves ?
Did you never want custom 3D leaves ?
Wouldn't it be nice if you could randomize each element group individually ? Or could randomize depending on length, density or whatever ? Hint: node-dependencies !
etc..

I have some other plant-generators and all have their strong and weak points. I think Onyx is the best one to use with VRay, but it could use some improvements...

For me, I don't think the user interface is very intuitive, or easy to use. I also think that the appearance of the boughs coming out from the trunk could look a lot more natural/smooth.

Giraffe, your trees are great, so maybe I'll just ask you for help next time.
