  • free Render for still image at RebusFarm (beta test)

    hiho

the Beta is over - thx to all participants

the new installer of the Farminizer tool is avaliable on webside - all major bugs are gone
we will try to support more output format like EXR HDR and to reduce the no-go restrictions to get it neatless into your workflow

the Farminizer is a plugin for 3dsmax and designed to submit your job to render by pressing ONE button
the plug will prompt all potential user errors and follys and filter all no-goes

    how it work ?

Do you plan to support full float images? I usually render to .hdr or .exr for a full linear workflow.

Did not know what Imagemagick was, so just googled it and saw this:

ImageMagick® is a software suite to create, edit, and compose bitmap images. It can read, convert and write images in a variety of formats (over 100) including DPX, EXR, GIF, JPEG,

            It already supports 32bit?

Figures my first test would use SSS2

I'm now out of the studio for a week so I will try again she. I get back.
                Thanks.

your result is not as it should - all is OK but the SSS2
I fear there is no solution to support it somewhen

I have a rather large image that needs rendering. I thought I'd try it out at my work's farm, but the last time I tried it took too long =) It's a 9k image and if you'd like I can give it a go at your farm this weekend. Great offer!

bring it on and keep rendertime low as possible

do the Farminizer give you error about missing plugin Colorcorrect ?
if not I have it and can render it (imho it is supported)

Farminizer check all and everything to make sure I can render it

                          the golden rule:
if Farminizer let you export it then I can render it

Firstly, Thanks for this offer - i'm interested to see how quickly an image I have could get done.

I've just tried to use this, but am running to some pretty major problems for me:

Error Common: File Extension ".exr" not supported for single frame rendering.
Error Common: Due to a bug in 3dsMax, 16bit output and GammaCorrection not allowed

I'm only really even conserned with Vray's save function - not Max's sh1t one. Hence I want to write all the elements in my scene into a single .exr through vray's framebuffer.

                            How can I do this?

further to this - could we render to .vrimg?
Or is it that because Imagemagick doesn't support it we can't?
