    How do you manage the noise coming from VRLight in mesh type?
    From my first test with SP3 it seems to me that the default 8 as subds is always too low, I cannot clean the image without raising it to 16. Using an equivalent VRLight in sphere type, often 8 subds is enough then I can use the image sampler to remove only the fine part of noise.
    But maybe I'm missing some fundamental step, any ideas?

    Mesh lights will perform worse than a basic light of the same shape; this is normal - the basic lights (plane, sphere) are specifically optimized for their shapes.

    Further on, if a mesh light is close to the surface of another object, it is recommended to use it together with GI, as shown in example 7 here:
