  • Vray Light: Dome - Alpha ?

Is there a way of having the background as alpha ?

I tried the vray alpha render element but it does not solve the problem.

    thx

I would make the dome light invisible and then put the hdri into the env slot in the max environment rollout. That way you still have the hdri lighting the scene but not the dome light blocking the alpha....is that what you meant ?

Of course, if you are not using a hdri then just make the dome light invisible and make the background to whatever you want via the max env slot.

I am not using HDR, just the light.

but I will try hiding it.

When I say invisible, i mean via the checkbox in the dome light options.
