          ...yes for sure,

but it's good to break the "Vue is our only option" quote and replace it with better tools.

I belief there is already a choice of 3 plugins that can help you in landscape needs.
So that's why I am wondering why Vue always pops up

I can't hardly belief why it can make your work any easier?

            Hey,

The Terragen 2 plugin for max looks pretty interesting. I am curious to see what you guys come up with.

I can only really think of 2 things I like about Vue:

-Automatic foliage LOD'ing/billboard generation (like Farcry and Crysis).

-Clouds - not the sky. The sky isn't based on the physical models of VRay/MR, etc. I don't think.

I just went on your website, and saw this: http://deadlinematrix.emecstudios.be/

                Is that a render??
It almost looks too good, but it's a bit weird putting a photo in a section about a renderfarm.

Yes, if you like their solidgrowth vegetation. They absolutely can't tip to any of the vegetation libs or software available for MAX.

That's why Terragen 2 will do a perfect job as well since it's based on real planets and it works so easy to get a realistic cloud scene. Not integrated in MAX but hey it's just a cloud scene that is so easy to put in as a backdrop
Ozone is also an option probably better than getting all the Vue load into your work.

You just have to wait if you want to see that one animated

If that ever made it into the Fake or Photo challenge, everybody would fail.

...well, we hope to make a difference in animation cause that's what it's about for our cartoon project

Just think about what you find in nature besides vegetation

                        I can't believe that's a render.

If it is, it's the most photorealistic render I've ever seen.

On closer look i'm starting to think the same.
this is too vague. You've still not said if it was actually a render or not so i'm banking on not.
