  • IR+ Brute force animation

I am working an architectural exterior animation. Only camera is moving.

I have to use IR+Brute force method.

when calculating IR MAP with incremental mode, can i turn off secondary bounce Brute Force to none to save time. Is it affects Irradiance calculation ? Or both should be irradiance map ??

    Thanks

BF as secondary is only needed when you're calculating the IR map - it's baked into the IR map, so you can turn BF when doing a render with IR in file mode.

        thank you for reply

duke2 : as far as i know, Brute Force is not baked into Irradiance map and need to calculated during render but never tested.

but from your answer, i need to turn it on BruteForce when calculating, and then turn off BF to none while rendering. I was thinking the reverse. will do a test.

joconnel : it is a large scene, dont know why but LC gives some ram/memory problems.wish i could use LC
