  • I missunderstood something,

    Hi all,

it seems I missed some very importand topic. I am looking for a simple answer for the interpolated reflections/sss. If you have a second free time, just help me and fill the missing point:

    - I have a complete scene I want to render with bluured reflections on the floor and sss Vase, but don't want to use GI.

    - I set "Indirect Illumnation = ON". (some standard Low setting)

    - I set the VRayMat to use Interpolated computation

    - If I render now, it starts rendering interpolations but GI too, what is not desired.

    - To get rid of GI I must select all Objects and in RenderDialog/System/= All objects exclude from GI!

    - This works till I put the next object into the scene. It gets by next rendering GI. Again the same game with RenderDialog/System/exclude from GI...

    -

Sometimes I have over 100 Obects I replace in the scene. It is terrible to tell them all the time not to use GI. I am sure there is a setting that render IrradianceMap (needed for smooth reflections) without turning objects again and again on and of, but as a default setting (Somehting like "Render Irradiance without GI" or similar)

Do you know maybe the solution?

thanks in advance for the suggestions!

    Hi Igor,

If you dont want to use GI, just dont turn on GI. You can use interpolation glossi reflections now without GI.
