  • VrayBlendMtl bump problem. Only base bump in effect??

    Hello

I'm was using vrayblendmtl to create a composite material gor a golf course.
Each material (green, fair, rough, natural, etc, etc) area is controled by masks.

The advantage of vrayblenmtl over the max standard composite is that there is a separate mask slot and you don't need to define any material transparency.

The problem is vrayblendmtl base material bump will override the other.

Maybe meant to be like this but would be nice to have an option there

I have the Blur "Multi Blend" material but it seams to take more time, almost twice as vrayblendmtl.
    Why this speed diferences?

Anyway...can someone gove me some tips on this?
    Any other options?

    Thanks

it seems to work as expected here. each material, coats and base, has its own bump showing up. if the masks you're using to define the blend amount are not black and white, the different materials can end up being blended between them, bump and all.

        sorry...my bad.
I don't quite understand how but I had "shellac mode" on.
Strange...I wasn't using it and just turn it on to see if anything would change regarding the bump...
I'm sorry for missing that and wasting your time...
Must be more carefull next time
        Thanks
