Yep, no problem - just email me to vlado@chaosgroup.com and we'll sort this out.

Vlado you're a star - much appreciated for that. I was going to do a test with vray 2.0 to see if it worked better with tp - I think I read that there's better support for it in vray 2.0 overall, regardless of whether it works with the metaball plugin or not. The project I'm on is largely based on vray 1.5 sp5 at the minute due to the fact the company knows it's rock solid and there isn't a huge amount of complicated 3d for us to need any major improvements in what 1.5 already does - if I could use the meta stuff with tp then it'd be a good excuse to move up, after seeing some of the bitmap related speed ups in rendering though that might swing it too!

          Oh yes!! Perfect timing... Thanks!

@MasterB - sounds awesome with Iso surfaces - it will be a very nice addition to the MetaBalls..

            What does mean "TP"?

Just installed the 2011 x64 plugin for VRay 2.0 - getting an error when loading the plugin on max startup.

I have installed the Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 Service Pack 1 package (mentioned in another Bercon Metaball thread) from here: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/e...2-9112bab119c2
                ..to no avail.

Any other package I need to install?

Am I the only one who can't get it to work in 2011 x64? Would be nice to be able to play with this between christmas and new years - my annual 3d playground time.

Hi Henrik, I can only tell you that it is working fine here - don't know what you might be missing... Any chance that you can try it out on a second PC and compare which updates you have installed?

                    God Jul!

Just tried on a laptop. Win7 x64, max 2011 x64 with latest service pack + hotfix, latest vray 2.0 build and Bercon Metaball 2011 x64.

Same error message: "failed to initialize. Error code 126 - The specified module could not be found."

My workstation has VisualStudio Redist. 2005, 2008 and 2010.
                        Laptop has 2005 and 2008.

All in both x86 and x64.

Hah - Now I feel like a proper idiot.

I had just clumped it in with Berconmaps in the plugins folder root. Didn't realize it had to be relative to other vray dl* file(s).

                            Thanks!

Just as an aside Vlado I've noticed that this doesn't work with the vray velocity pass - it just outputs a green value!
