Hi Psy...looking good so far, but still plenty to do.
The workflow I discussed in those tuts have held up for me in all the jobs I have worked on, and should translate across to any renderer. So I'm just wondering in what situations have you come across where it has fallen short?

Would be interested in your own technique.

updated some more, maybe it passes the tough quality control of you guys this time.

        @dejaVu:
They do, it's just in some cases that it doesn't seem to work all that well. I dunno, your method seems a bit involved and overly precise. Mine's more about learning the limitations of the renderer and working with them to do quick images.

        i wish i did. i wish i had a job period.

when the scene is finished, so that I can release it and not feel like I'm doing it half-ass.

Just a minimun one.... the sofa have same white dots in the corners. If its a real efect I dont get it. The direct light is infront of the sofa and dont seems to be passing on it.

And the floor if its painted, that why it reflect, it will have some little bright area in the inperfections on the floor. I know it because I have a floor similar to that one. Mayba a little bumping.

Light is really simple and awesome.

the flooring is supposed to be mimicking laminate. but your right, a small bump would help a good deal.

the couch has some detailing on it, very small, but it just catches the light.

Maybe do something with the top of the image, it's a bit empty there.
And if possible, bevel the lamps bottom cylinder

just trying to help you making the best tutorial ever

                          most appreciated!

the other thing dejaVu, is that your multipliers in your tutorials are so damn high.

I think they are high because exponential color mapping was not available at that time.

i use slightly highish multipliers and then exponential to bring them down a bit, not vice versa.

Here's the exterior one, just got it finished. Hope it helps some, to those that need the help.

Now just need to finish the interior one.

P.S. Sorry for the really rough layout and form, I figured that most want content over looks.
