In terms of what this adds, is it a smoke and a fire element? Do they have velocity information and are they float?

FumeFX adds four render elements - fire, smoke, velocity and z-depth.

Thanks Vlado, got this working and tested... all good!
Is there any chance that the render elements can have the alpha included too? So for example the fumeFX Smoke element would have an alpha channel too. I find this pretty useful to have.

i think they used fume

That was done by Digital Domain using their in-house tool, Voxel B. Really nice work.
