If I'm rendering a scene that involves being on the outside of a structure but having some of the interior of the structure visible, is it possible to specify the amount of detail that the Irr map creates for the different areas. For example, the interior I would need higher settings to get rid of splotches etc and for the exterior I wouldn't require such extreme settings. Could these be defined by hidden geometry that encompasses these areas and sets the detail level for the irr map.
Using this method I'm thinking that you could speed up renders.
