  • Specular Maps causing trouble ?

    I just installed the latest FREE version (n). Recently I´ve been using Brasil,
    but this is 100000 times faster.
    So is it common (Or JUST with the free version) that when you are using spec maps in addition with
    /texture, all the shiny parts turn in to a white blobs ?
    Using standard material without spec map works.

    Goddamnit, this is so fast and I´m totally into purchasing this brilliant piece O´software.

    ADDENDUM: Okay, it says that "material returned overbright or invalid color blaa blaa".
    And this happens ONLY when you´ve added material on to more than 3-4 objects.
    When you disable the specular map, everything works !!!!
    GRRRRRRR..

    So it seems that i JUST can´t use any specularity maps.
    A bug on my behalf or just the minor difference between the FREE
    and the commercial version ?
    I´d like to know. Thanks anyway.

    Solution found

    Just clamp all the spec maps UNDER 100 and put a tick on a box where it says: crop bitmap.
