You should also try to get the same intensity in the lights so that they look the same, the lights on the left are much brighter/washed out that the lights in the back right, which cast a much nicer light on the wall.

Nice render tho, i think that scene begs for a murder/mystery

I think you render looks great other than the diffuse on the walls!

Just out of curiousity, are we getting the vertical striped lines from the actually polys? If so, it's kinda a happy accident.

It could possibly use a couple support wires at the top of the shade. I personally dont think most people would notice though.
