  • Excluding forums from the "What's New" list

    Hello,

Since we have quite a few forums now, it may get tedious to browse through posts you may not be interested in, so we added the possibility to exclude forums from the "What's New" search. To set this up, go to the Settings page from the top right-hand menu, then on the left in the "My Settings" group click the "General settings" section under My Account, scroll down and in the "Exclude forums from 'What's New'" list, select the sub-forums you do not wish to see. (Note that you will need to select the respective final sub-forums like "V-Ray for 3ds Max :: General", not a whole group like "V-Ray for 3ds Max forums").

If there are any issues with this feature, please let us know.

    Best regards,
    Vlado

I can not exclude the "public" forums. They are not in the list.

Thanks for the pointer, will pass it on to the web guys. Are you able to exclude the other forums?

Thanks Vlado, I really needed this feature.

Works fine for me on Firefox 3.6.

You should be able to exclude the public forums now too.

                Best regards,

You just need to select the sub-forums you want, like when doing a search. Also, you need to select a specific forum (like a 'General' or 'Image uploads' etc, not a group).
