Excluding forums from the "What's New" list

Am I missing something?
I only have My Profile, My Posts, User settings and log out in the top right menu?
In the user settings I can't find anything related to "My Settings"or "General Settings" just stuff relating to my profile.

We"re certainly missing something....

Also, when you use "What's new", I kinda miss not seeing from what forum come from those posts...

What's New feature in vBulletin 5.0 doesn't work the same way as in the previous version of the Forums and unfortunately it cannot be configured to show only specific sections of the Forums.

We managed to find a workaround to display from which Forums the posts are but we haven't found such for the section management yet, hopefully will find a way to sort this out.

Hmm seems odd.. It wouldnt be a problem but there are so many irrelevant forums if you only use max and vray that the "whats new" is essentially a bit pointless at the moment. Hope there is a way to change this.

I can't find a way to exclude forums either.
And another question:
Is there a way we can change the color theme guys? Old style wase more clear to me.

I haven't tried it but I believe is just what you are asking for. From the username on the top right select My Profile, then from the bottom left select Customize My Style.
Let us know if it does or doesn't work.

LOL - I was scratching my head trying to figure out why I couldn't follow the directions in the original post to hide irrelevant forums. Then I realized this thread was over 5 years old. Might want to remove it from the stickies since it's no longer accurate information.

I've tried to change text size and some colors and it doesn't seem to work for me.

Edit: I now realized it does work, but it changes only the style of your profile page, not the forum contents.

Same here .........forum quite annoying not being able to filter out sub forums which don't interest me
