All my baked textures seems not to fit with my uwvs at all.

  • All my baked textures seems not to fit with my uwvs at all.

    I've working in it while weeks but seems without luck... this is only an example:



    That its my original model with GI




    This is the same model with the GI too and the baked lightmap putted on
    As you can see ,some edges are wrong because the texture don't fit at all with the uvw map.

    All of you the text. and uvw map works correct? If yes , how you get it?
    All help will be apreciated

    thats baked map is a self illum map if i recall, put it in the self illum slot, not the diffuse slot.
    5 years and counting.

      Thanks but I only put it in diffuse map to show the fail better.
      If I put it into the light channel I see the teapot in yelow colour, but the lightmap don't fit at all.

        If you take the PNG created from Bake3D into Photoshop you'll see that there is an Alpha, which is causing this problem. I've always just tweaked the texture in PS and in some cases I export as a different file type altogether.

          If you convert the png to jpeg with acdsee it kills the alpha and you get the plain texture with the edge padding..
