  • Best way to populate a Car park with Vray Proxy cars? Script move object to surface?

    Hi Guys,

I have a modelled car park which is NOT flat, I have already modelled the car park spaces etc.. I have now placed all the cars above the car park, Now I was thinking I would have to manually drag each one on the Z axis to meet the car park surface, is there a better / quicker way round this? Any particular script perhaps? the AXIS arrow for each car is at the bottom centre of each car.

Wouldn't it be good if the proxies were smarter with 2 or even 4 pivot points to do this sort of thing?

    Cheers

ive created simple wheel rigs used in conjunction with glue to get my car to tilt correctly to stay all tires on the ground. it works on some more extreme slopes but not on very extreme ones

Yes Glue is one of those free plugins everyone should have in their arsenal. It is also very powerful with splines.
