we are currently working on a hipoly interior scene with a lot of reflections/refractions.
i remember that vlado mentioned, that there is a nightly build were it is possible to control the dmc samples per object.
it would be a tremendous help to cut the rendertime for this particular animation and still get a decent noise level.
at dmc 1-5 the rendertime is somehow acceptable, at dmc 1-20 the tiny reflections in the glass get enough samples.
any help is appreciated.
