  • car paint no use irradiance map

The car paint material doesn't have an irradiance map setting in the options.
I need to exclude the use irradiance map as the car is moving in the scene.
Then I can load the ir map and render with brute force for the car.
Is there any way to do this?

hm... id say if the car is close enough to see the flakes, youd be better off with the compositing route, or pure BF, as it will be filling the screen. if its far enough away, then simply approximate the carpaint with a vray material. its not so hard to get a nice looking carpaint.

Another option is to use VraySphereFade.

You can find information about this setup here:
