After reading all about creating better renders using the Gamma/LUT setting and the Frame Buffer, I thought I would give it a try. Seems like it does produce a better render, once you get used to the controls. However, even though I have VRayRenderID selected under "Render Elements", it does not seem to create the file automatically like it did when I was using the 3dsMax render window. I know I can save it manually from the VFB window, but was wondering why it doesn't save automatically?
Secondly, is there a way to save the RenderID file as a layer when I save the image as a .tif, or is that only possible through .exr?
Thanks.
