  • reflection alpha for environment

    I am trying to generate a reflection alpha that includes the environment texture I have in a glass material. The scene is simple and is made up of a glass plane that has its own environment reflection via the maps. I can get the glass plane to reflection objects in the scene either by using affect all channels for the alpha or VRayDirt as a separate render element. But neither include the reflection from the environment.

    Is this possible, or have I missed something?

    I am not sure I understand what you are after. Could you please clarify the issue a bit?

      What happens if you make the Env. Priority = 1 in the options of the VRayMtl in question?

        Sorry, I should have explained that a little better. I was unable to generate a reflection alpha that included an environment texture in the material. I managed to get it working, thanks.
