  • IR Map Viewer Question

Hello everyone. I was attempting to merge together 3 IR maps, each around 170megs using the IR Map Viewer. I opened up the first map and merged the second map together without an issue but when I attempted to merge the third map, I ran out of virtual memory and the hard drive when nuts. Everything was locked up to the point I had to re-boot the system. My system VM is set to 4092MB and that appears to be maxed out. Is there an way to merge IR maps that requires les resources?

    Thanks,

    Scott.

    Hello Smalerbi

Irradiance Map Viewer is the only tool that could merge separate irradiance maps.
How much RAM do you have installed on your machine ?
170MB x 3 = 510MB - this file size is not too big - 1GB free RAM should be enough to merge these maps.
Try to close all unnecessary application and run merge process again.
If it is possible send us these files for testing here.
