HDRI mapped on a Plane? Is this possibile?

Hi...

I have a little Question about HDRI mapping... is it possibile to map a HDRI File on a plane, or a box or other objects? I want to display the complete HDRI-Image on a plane (UVW-mapping)... IN BRAZIL, it works fine...

Yes you can do this in the new internal builds.

you can do this in max 6 with the normal bitmap loader. It now uses splutter fish's hdr dialogue for setting up black and white limits on hdr images. what it doesn't do is allow you to tell it what format your hdr is assuming your using some type of light probe image. so if you want to map something onto a box you'd have to pull it into hdr shop and convert say an angular map into something more meaningful for mapping.
