Hello everyone,
I'm working with an interior scene. And I would like turn off sub-pixel mapping, because I like to see nice highlight in my scene.
In this project there are a lot of transparent objects. But, as we know, sub-pixel mapping can kill our rendering time.
Here the screenshot. I tried with many different setting, from BF+LC, to IM+LC with and without sup-pixel.
But the rendering time is very high with sub-pixel off. Here the settings (4h 30 min for 1024px with I7 970...)
DMC: Min 1 Max 32
Reinhard
Sub-pixel : off
BF: 64 or 128
LC: usual setting
DMC sampler: 0.5, 0.015, 8, 1
subdivs mtl / lights 8
If you want to try with me to optimize this scene (with sub-pixel off), I have the complete scene ready to use.
Just click "render" and you'll have the same result, with my settings.
Send me the request in PM for the zip file.
